Error 0015.111 or 0015.301. “The serial number you entered is not valid. Try again.”

This is a common error related to the new way of assigning licenses to Autodesk software users.

To resolve this issue, please follow these steps:

  • Go to the folder: C:\Users<username>\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\ADUT, and then delete the ADUT folder.
  • PGo to the folder: C:\ProgramData\FLEXnet, and then delete the files whose names start with adskflex.
  • Go to the folder: C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\CLM\LGS, and then delete the folder with the program key that is causing the problem <ProductKey_Version>, if it exists.
  • For example, 001K1_2019.0.0.F for AutoCAD 2019.

IMPORTANT! Do not delete other folders, as it may cause issues with licenses for other programs, not just those from Autodesk.

  • Go to the folder: C:\Users<username>\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Web Services, and then delete the file LoginState.xml, if it exists.
  • Restart the Autodesk product to activate/login again.

*The above operation will require displaying hidden folders in Windows. To enable this feature, go to Control Panel > Folder Options, then from the View tab, select the option to Show hidden files, folders, and drives.
